The International Society for Computational Biology RSG Singapore is proud to present the First Singapore Symposium on Computational Biology 2008 (SYMBIO 2008). This event aims to bring together people from the 3 sectors in Computational Biology in Singapore – the industry professionals, the academia and research institutions and scholars in this field – for a day of sharing and presenting their findings and challenges in the area of Computational Biology.
Experts and prominent professionals from the industry, academia and research institutions in this field have been invited to grace this event with their recent experience and challenges faced in their course of research. In addition, scholars who have been persistent in their research with original findings have also been invited to present their work in this event.
Participants and delegates of this event can look forward to an exciting day of thought-provoking and stimulating speeches presented by keynote speakers and scholars alike. Moreover, the event is made conducive for better networking opportunities which will see the industry, academic institutions and research institutions collaborating in more fundamental studies and application projects.
